Kilt, as we see them today, are a relative Modern Invention (actually invented in the 1800’s). The modern kilt was Invented by an English “ Quake” from Lancashire named “THOMAS RAWLI NSON”.
KILT IS a SYMBOL OF HONOR:
The kilt is a symbol of honor for a clan which they belong First Won by those people who lived in Scottish Highlands. The kilt was the manner of dress that offered the fighting army with possible its most useful tool.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
In my Profession, I talk to a lot of peoples about their kilt wearing habits. Some are BRAND NEW to wear the kilt. Others have worn the kilt for decades. Some wear the kilt on the daily bases, others for only on special Occasions.
MY PERSONAL OBSERVATION:
It has been my personal Observation that there are ‘’Solid and Valid’’ Reasons why someone may decide to wear a kilt? And those reasons will affect our habits and attitude towards Highlands DRESS. I normally try to avoid SWEEPING GENERALIZATION, but there are some major categories that I must believe most kilt wearers fall into.

v As a costume or
v As a clothing.
